It is not allowed to bring alcohol or other alcoholic beverages to the center. It is possible to buy beer, wine and soda at the reception.
Dinner can only be ordered if you are more than 20 people, and has to be arranged in advance.
Cooking and eating is not allowed in the rooms.
Bed linen or sheet sleeping bag is required. Please note that normal sleeping bags are not allowed. You can either choose to bring your own bed linen or you can rent it at the center. There will be a cleaning fee of DKK 250,- pr bed if this rule is not respected.
Parking is free of charge for guests.
Pets are not allowed at the center.
When checking out from the room it is expected that the room is left neat and tidy.
All reservations have to be paid up front unless something else has been agreed upon.
Bookings on 1-2 nights can be cancelled and refunded up to three days before arrival, though with a cancellation fee of DKK 100,- pr. room. When cancelling less than three days before arrival no refund will be possible.
Bookings on three nights or more can be cancelled up to seven days before arrival with a full refund, though still with a cancellation fee of DKK 100,- pr. room. When cancelling less than 7 days before arrival a refund will not be possible.
The international hostel card costs DKK 160 and is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Children under 18 years of age, travelling with adults, do not need a hostel card.
In Denmark there is a minimum discount of 10 % pr. night IF all people from 18 years old are holders of a valid membership cards. The Danhostel card is valid for all hostels in the world that are members of Hostelling International. www.hihostel.com

First time staying at a hostel because hotels in this area were very expensive when researching. Arrived after hours and key was easy to find. Everyone was very friendly - there was a summer camp and they invited us to have s'mores at the campfire. Room was very spacious, clean and had everything we expected. Experience here will make me look into hostels for future travels abroad (we live in USA). We prefer simple, laid back places and this was it!

Nu var det Corona virus tid så det er svært at vurdere. Men vi havde stedet for os selv og vores børn på 10 og 12 var vildt imponerede. Vi voksne nød værelse, fællesrum osv.

Overraskende behageligt når man egentlig er vandt til gode hoteller, for nu at sige det ligeud. Jeg kan sagtens bo på DanHostel en anden gang, god seng, flot standard, pænt og - ikke mindst - rigtig søde og venlige personale.
